Chef/Owner Brian Bornemann, from Crudo e Nudo and Isla, mastered Tuscan cooking in Italy during his UCLA years. After success in LA at Viale dei Romani, he navigated the pandemic to launch Crudo e Nudo, evolving it into a celebrated Santa Monica brick-and-mortar. With partner Leena Culhane, they introduced Isla, further solidifying their culinary presence in Los Angeles with sustainable seafood and wood-fired cuisine.
