Michelin-starred Chef Lijo George, drawing inspiration from his Indian roots and extensive culinary journey across the globe, is set to debut Camphor in DTLA’s Arts District in February 2022. With over a decade of experience, he has worked in renowned kitchens, including Alain Ducasse's establishments, honing his skills and earning Michelin stars. Co-Executive Chef Max Boonthanakit, an Atlanta native with a decade of experience, also joins Camphor, bringing a culinary journey that includes working with Chef José Andrés and receiving accolades like the 'Eater Young Guns' award. Boonthanakit, known for his clean and light approach to flavors, returns to Los Angeles with expertise in both savory and sweet cuisines, embodying Camphor’s refreshing and modest culinary style in a relaxed atmosphere.
