Childhood friends Ray and Jay fulfilled their dream with Spoon & Pork, starting as a 2017 food truck and quickly earning acclaim, including the title of 2017 Best Food Truck by LA Weekly. Their Silver Lake brick-and-mortar received praise from the Los Angeles Times and New York Times in 2019, and 2020 brought more accolades, including a spot on the LA Times 101 Best Restaurants list and recognition as Chefs to Watch by Plate Magazine. In 2021, Spoon & Pork earned a place on the California Michelin Guide and opened a second location in West LA, celebrating reimagined Filipino comfort food in Los Angeles' diverse culinary scene.
