Pink and Boujee was founded by Yesenia Castro, a DREAMER raised in Bovle Heights and born in Veracruz. Mexico. Born to Mexican parents whose dream was to succeed in life and give their family opportunities that they would not receive in their homeland due to economical hardships. Pink and Boujee was born out of an idea to showcase Yesenia's mother's traditional cooking mixed with her own personal influences which you can guess involves the color pink. Like the slogan "Not Your Basic Taqueria" thev wanted to create a pink menu where you can enjoy one of a kind pink tacos and traditional Mexican dishes with no artificial colors or ingredients.
